Over the years I’ve worked with numerous food & beverage brands and photographed well over 1000 recipes, from burgers and sandwiches, to ice cream and all kinds of desserts, to smoothies and cocktails and more.
In the beginning (and still to this day) I‘ve always analyzed my work and asked myself, “what can I do differently to make it better next time?“ By doing this after every project for years and continuously striving to make the most beautiful images possible I’ve mastered the art of photographing food and developed a process that consistently delivers amazing results.
There are several elements that go into what we do, passion, experience, talent, and having an eye for what looks good are all very important. We have high standards for what we produce the best way to meet these standards are:
Experience - Steven Domjancic, our primary photographer and creative director, has a proven track record that speaks for itself. Steven is passionate about his work and has earned the reputation for having “an eye” for what looks good.
Talented Food Stylists - Our team consists of some of the very best food stylists in the country and we always work with the person who’s the best fit for the job. If we’re shooting ice cream, the stylist you’ll get will be an ice cream specialist. If we’re shooting pizza, the stylist you’ll get will be a pizza specialist and so on.
Set Styling - We source or create surfaces and backgrounds depending on what’s needed for a specific look and feel. We gather the right props and ingredients that tell a story. We take colour palettes and plating seriously because they make a huge difference in whether the food stands out or blends into the background.
Beautiful Lighting - We control the light in our studio to keep every shot consistent. The angle of light to make sure the sauce glistens is an important detail when it comes to shooting food. That’s why we have a variety of lights and light modifiers that help us achieve the best results.

Steven Domjancic
Steven Domjancic, our creative director and primary photographer has over 10 years of experience in the industry and has worked with food and beverage brands like McCormick, Cineplex Entertainment, Billy Bee, Frank’s Red Hot, Thai Kitchen, McCormick Gourmet, and Club House La Grill and Crafty Elk to name a few. Whether it’s a sizzling skillet, drizzling sweet honey, or sprinkling sugar you can be sure each dish is well thought out and executed.

Anthony Chang
Anthony is a master commercial photographer and lighting specialist. His skills and knowledge with lighting and equipment is second to none. With over 15 years of experience he’s created stunning work everywhere he goes and is a key member of our crew.

Thomas Waite
Thomas Waite, also known as the In Home Chef was the youngest chef in Ontario to ever receive his chef papers. Since then he’s built a small empire bringing his talents to homes all over Canada. Thomas has earned the reputation for creating beautiful and delicious dishes that keep his guests coming back for more, which is why we are happy to have him on our team. On top of his in-home catering business Thomas also runs an event company hosting weddings, special dinner parties, corporate dinners and more. It’s impossible not to love Thomas, he has an amazing life story and puts passion and energy into everything he does.
